Families who walk in our door usually do so because they heard about us from a friend or read our great reviews, and they want to see what the fuss is about. Naturally, people want to see the space, chat with us, and make a decision about their own needs. An Introductory Lesson is where this happens.

Come join us for a brief intro lesson followed by a two-week free trial period to enjoy and experience the value of our program firsthand. Click below…

During our Little Dragons program, we “play” martial arts. It is our goal to teach kids the various physical and mental skills that will prepare them for more intense training when they are older, as well as develop positive habits to take with them out of the dojo.

RMF Little Dragons (4-6) is a program that uses martial arts moves and games to help these young children learn to move and use their bodies. Our classes are designed to build physical skills while also enforcing valuable life skills that will follow them outside the dojo.

BENEFITS: Our practice provides Little Dragons with a healthy outlet that builds:

  • Focus and Control

  • Respect and Discipline

  • Coordination and Fine Motor Skills

  • Balance and Core Strength

  • Speed and Reaction Time

Our curriculum is a practical blend of striking arts (Muay Thai) and grappling (Jiu Jitsu), two ancient arts that have been continually refined and proven to be worldwide standard-bearers in martial arts and self-defense.

While many schools play games like “dodge ball” or “tug-of-war,” we make sure that the activities the kids are doing are martial arts related and develop skills that will translate effectively as they get older. The “games” that we play are just fun, simpler versions of techniques they learn at the older age groups to set them up for success as they get older.

MAT CHATS: Even at this young age, we have short, age-appropriate chats at the end of every class to connect the values of martial arts to their life outside the school. These topics include:

  • Kindness

  • Overcoming Challenges

  • Having a Positive Mindest

  • Showing Respect to Others

  • Having an Attitude of Gratitude

We like to challenge our students to turn these words into actions, by inspiring them to demonstrate the life lessons that we teach on the mat and apply them in their daily lives. Overall we hope to be part of the "village" that raises happy and healthy kids.
