At Revolution Martial Fitness, we are proud of our quality Juniors program. With our high-energy classes, we seek to create a positive and supportive environment where the students are challenged to be their personal best.

Juniors (7-11) Our complete martial arts program provides juniors with a healthy and high-energy physical practice that builds:

  • Discipline, Focus, and Control

  • Confidence and Individual Growth

  • Coordination and Reflexes

  • Leadership Skills

  • Resilience and Grit

  • Physical Agility… and so much more!

Our curriculum is a complete and practical blend of striking arts (Muay Thai) and grappling (Jiu Jitsu), two ancient arts that have been continually refined and proven to be worldwide standard-bearers in both combat sport and self-defense. The broad array of physical and mental attributes required to grow into an advanced practitioner of these arts has rightfully earned the live-training the nickname of “physical chess.”

Life Skills: We have short, age-appropriate chats at the end of every class to connect the values of martial arts to their life outside the school. Some of these topics include:

  • Overcoming Challenges

  • Having a Positive Mindest

  • Showing Respect and Kindness to Others

  • Having an Attitude of Gratitude

We challenge our students to turn these words into actions, by inspiring them to demonstrate the life lessons that we teach on the mat and apply them in their daily lives.

WHAT SHOULD MY CHILD EXPECT?

Each time your child steps on the mats, you can expect a combination of three elements: Warm Up, Drilling & Partner Work.

  • Warm-Ups: Prepare your body and mind for the practice to come with a brief meditation and skill-specific warm-up

  • Drilling: A mix of solo and paired drilling where they build their martial skill toolbox along with their confidence, assertiveness, coordination, balance, control, and power 

  • Partner Work: Your child will learn to think and move calmly and improvisationally by putting their skills together. We prioritize the playful and technical style of “sparring and rolling to learn,” as it is a better tool for both development and safety vs. the hard style of “sparring to win.”
