Josh Conway (Forrest Fitness Head Coach)

Movement has been an anchor of Josh’s life since 15. After an unathletic childhood, he became a competitive runner and collegiate rower until intractable back pain hobbled him in his 20s.

He tried (literally) every therapeutic modality to mixed results, but not without doing his homework. Through studying the science and principles of human movement, he found his own way out of pain and ultimately left the business world to help others full-time. For 10 years, Josh ran studios where he shared his approach with athletes, clinicians, personal trainers, and a wide variety of folks seeking a healthier and smarter fitness path. Pain-free for 20 years, he can out-move his 20-something self and finds purpose in helping others find their own way to long-road physical freedom.

Our Assistant Instructors

In addition to our main instructors, our staff is comprised of a large number of assistant instructors. Many of these staff members are long time students that choose to commit their time to helping out with classes and serve as positive role models to the other young students in the school. All these assistants go through special instructor training - learning positive teaching techniques and leadership skills.
